"Anyone can throw a punch. Few know how to set it up so it lands."
Slate is run by one person, me, which is exactly the point. No account manager passing your brief down a chain, no junior handling your ad spend while you pay senior rates.
I started my first business at sixteen selling shoes, launched an import and export operation at nineteen that I still help run today as Director of Operations, and co-founded a construction and automation company by twenty. None of it was planned on a whiteboard, it was learned deal by deal. That's why I understand what a startup actually needs, I've been the founder staring at the same problems my clients face now.
My background isn't the usual marketing path either. I'm a double major in Digital Systems Security and Cybersecurity, and I coach boxing. Both taught me the same thing: patience under pressure, and how to spot the opening everyone else walks past. That's how I run every project here: study the business, find the gap, hit it clean.
